With her passion for fabulous jewels and an absolute commitment to customer service, SuzyB, Private Jeweler has opened a by-appointment-only jewelry salon in New York City, and online at www.suzyb.com.

SuzyB, starting a new chapter in her rich career in the jewelry industry, is pleased to be out on her own and creating jewelry she’s proud to offer to her select customers. “I only sell pieces I would wear myself or give to a member of my family,” said Suzy about her jewels. In a very short time, SuzyB has become known for the custom work her skilled and very talented craftsmen produce as well as the stunning pieces she keeps on-hand to dazzle her customers.

Though SuzyB enjoys clients from all over the country and beyond, first time appointments are usually in the New York office. Once a client and the experienced staff at SuzyB get to know each other, subsequent business is done via email, phone, Express Mail and personal deliveries! Once a client has been in the office, then his or her jewelry needs can be discussed via phone and email, at the client’s convenience. Customer privacy is taken very seriously and given the utmost respect at all times.

SuzyB’s inventory is chock full of loose diamonds – her first love! Today, they are a mainstay of her business. These stones are offered with GIA Certificates (also referred to a GIA “Cert”), considered the best in the business for diamond grading. Ask about what makes a diamond sparkle and you’ll get a complete diamond education from the experts at SuzyB. They love all size diamond calls – no request is too large or too small.

Loose diamond are not all that sparkles at SuzyB; her jewelry selection is just as impressive. Browse through a full selection of diamond jewelry including: diamonds stud earrings in all sizes, diamond line (“tennis” bracelets), diamond necklaces and diamond drops. Colored gemstones are abundant at SuzyB, as well as creative ideas for custom pieces.

Other services offered at SuzyB include consignment goods (selling pieces for customers who wish to sell them), at-home shopping (for established customers) and special design services (along with custom work and appraisals).

About Suzy

Suzy Boswit is an actual person, behind SuzyB the company. She loves to create beautiful jewelry, something very special for the recipient.  The most exciting moment for Suzy is the phone call or e-mail from the buyer or recipient “loving the jewelry.”

Most recently Suzy was a Vice President at Fabrikant, a well-known jewelry manufacturer in New York City. Suzy created and ran the personal sales division there for over 20 years, selling diamonds and jewelry to a large and loyal following of private clients around the country.

Suzy was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and attended college at the University of Texas at Austin where she received her B.S. in Communications. As a young girl, Suzy attended the Henry S. Jacobs Camp in Jackson, MS. From this camp evolved the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience and subsequently the larger Institute of Southern Jewish Life, where Suzy now serves as a Board of Trustees Member. She is also on the Board of the Eldridge Street Project, dedicated to preserving the Synagogue there as a site of Jewish heritage, culture and historical preservation. Suzy is also a former Big Sister with the Jewish Children Services in New York City.

Suzy served on the Women’s Jewelry Association national board of directors for many years, and was  honored by her peers in 2000 with an Award for Excellence in Retail.  When not working, Suzy enjoys traveling, researching her family genealogy, shopping and, of course, jewelry.

Suzy is proud to dedicate her website to her Dad, whom she lost the month before launching her own business.
